After being given a used 35mm Canon SLR by my uncle, it was not long before I was well and truly bitten by the photography bug. At first, I would photograph anything within in local area, but as soon as I got my driving licence I started to travel further away. After a couple of years, I invested in my first DSLR, a Canon 350D, and would travel to train stations to photograph the passing trains. Eventually, I started traveling further away to photograph trains but would look out on the journey for anything that caught my eye. Over time other forms of photography started to take over, such as landscape and event photography. It helped me develop a wide range of skills and knowledge, from understanding composition and lighting techniques to mastering post-processing software. Immersing oneself in the art of capturing photographs allowed me to develop a unique vision and perspective, often looking out for the small details in things, all to try and get the perfect shot. This process of learning is a continuous evolution, where I am continuing to refine my skills and expand my creative horizon. It is through photography that I can capture fleeting moments and create lasting memories, while also sharing them with others.
